About the Climb for Alzheimer's
Schedule for the day:
8:30 a.m. Check in begins for those doing the Grouse Grind® and the Summit Stroll
9:00 a.m. Warm Up
9:00 a.m. Summit Strollers depart
9:15 a.m. – 9:25 a.m. Grinders depart in three waves
10:30 a.m. Breakfast service starts at Summit Celebration
11:30 a.m. Summit Celebration and prizes
12:30 p.m. Climb for Alzheimer’s concludes
In its seventh year, Climb for Alzheimer’s is a fun and exhilarating team-based event that raises funds and awareness for the Alzheimer Society of B.C. at Grouse Mountain.
You can participate in the Climb for Alzheimer’s in either of two ways:
- Do the Grouse Grind®
- Do the Summit Stroll
The Summit Stroll is inclusive of seniors, families and those with health or mobility issues who may experience barriers in going up the Grouse Grind®. If you’re on the Stroll, you can walk the trails and visit any of the exhibits and habitats at the Peak of Vancouver.

Come join the Alzheimer Society of B.C. at our 2018 Climb for Alzheimer's Fundraiser!
Wed, July 25, 2018, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Your ticket includes a burger and a pint of beer on arrival. All ticket proceeds will go fund support for people impacted by
dementia. We'll also be hosting a raffle and a Silent Auction.
Tickets are $25 and available online.
