Hello, we are Dean Klein and Rick Muchowski, motorcycle riding partners and we have been buds since elementry school, although we have not seen much of each other since grad in 1978. We have always had a passion for riding motorcycles.

Although Rick has had many years road experince, Dean just aquired his road licence in 2023. Our passion for riding has brought us back together after 46 years. Earlier this year Rick threw out a challenge asking if Dean would like to ride to Alaska this summer? 

Dean said 'Hell-yah buddy I am down for that!'

So make a long story short, Dean was visiting his mom in her care home in February and she is suffering from Alzheimer's. Bam!!!! A light bulb moment occured. Dean said to himself why don't we do some good on our ride to the Arctic Circle as we are going to all the effort and expence anyway. Dean knew Rick's mom also had suffered from Alzheimer's before she passed away. So Dean sprung the concept on Rick and he said 'Hell-yah lets' do this!' In our moms' honor we have named the tour after our moms pet names. Dean's mom's is 'Lucy' and Rick's mom's is 'Baba'. Two great ladies that have done plenty for us and everyone else that they came into contact with. Love the caring Mums of this world. The plan is to leave June 10th and return about 20 days later.

It will be a trip of a lifetime in itself and now we are going to put the cherry on top by raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Society of B.C. in our mom's pet names.
