  • 2019 Climb for Alzheimer's

Welcome to Graeme's personal page

On September 29, 2019, I will hike the Grouse Grind in support of the Alzheimer Society of B.C. Climb for Alzheimer’s is a team-oriented fitness fundraising experience.

I am inspired to get involved because dementia has impacted my life. My uncle and several close family friends experience dementia. For me, participation in the Climb for Alzheimer’s means raising awareness and helping to destigmatize dementia and related disease. I hope to inspire others to do the same, and show support for those living with and impacted by dementia. Whether you’re a family member, a caregiver, or a person experiencing dementia, you’re not alone.

With your generosity, we can make a difference to estimated 70,000 British Columbians who are currently affected by Alzheimer disease or other dementias. Join me in ending the stigma of Alzheimer’s disease as it isn't just about our parents' generation – it's about ours. Thank you again and we invite you all on the top at our Summit Celebration to cheer us on as we complete our journey!

Sincerely,
Graeme Budge
