Thank you for Climbing!

On Sunday, September 29, more than 350 people came to Grouse Mountain to participate in the Climb for Alzheimer’s. Climbers either hiked the 2,830 steps of the Grouse Grind® or strolled around the Summit celebration site to show people living with dementia that no one should have to make that journey alone. The funds raised at the Climb support Alzheimer Society of B.C programs and services and enable research into the causes and cures of the disease. To date, over $80,000 has been raised! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible: our incredible fundraisers, donors, sponsors and volunteers. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Climb for Alzheimer’s in September 2020!

The Climb for Alzheimer’s is a fun, invigorating hike up the Grouse Grind® happening on September 29, 2019.

Join us on the day to Climb the 2,830 steps up to the peak of Grouse Mountain to show people affected by dementia that they are not alone on this uphill journey.

Funds raised ensure that the Alzheimer Society of B.C. can continue to deliver vital programs and services to people living with dementia across the province.

Want to participate in the Climb without doing the Grouse Grind®

Not a problem, you can take part in the Summit Stroll! Strollers will take the gondola up the mountain, make their way around the exhibits at the peak, then join in the fun of the Summit Celebration.

Are you ready to take the challenge?

Register with your family, friends and colleagues and start fundraising today.

Online registration will close at midnight on September 26. If you miss the cut off date, you can register in person at the event.
